Inglorious Basterds:5 stars

I love this movie. Despite Quentin Tarentino's non-CGI gore and action, which is amazing... i cant help but love the acting and diversity in the style or genre of the movie. But you simply cannot put his movies into a genre.

If you cannot stand watching people get shot and really seeing what it would really look like when somebody gets shot, this movie isnt for you. Now mind you there is a 3 second sex scene that is completely random but you see no boobs or butt cheeks so that is always a plus.

If you enjoy watching movies that are different and are not your average every day action flick and you enjoy shoot em' up's, then you should definately give"Inglorious Basterds" a shot.

overall not a kids movie.But awesome.

Oblivion and..... bein a geek

As fallout 3 is, the role playing in this game is absolutely phenominal. I played it before and was fairly skeptical. but after work 3 days ago i decided to go and look at my favorite store... gamestop :]

I walked in and went right on over to the Xbox 360 area. There i saw sitting so beautifully, the limited edition double disc of Oblivion mmhmmm!!!!

I am currently watching Taylor play it and fighting a stupid giant goblin. the battle is finally over. now i am going to go back and watch taylor walk on water and fight goblins and just pure destruction...

Fallout 3: (5 stars)

As you start in vault 101, you slowly start to realize that are learning to make your decisions and be whoever you want. You make your own decision as to which body part on the romaing dogs, ghouls, mole rats, raiders etc. I'm not too far in the game but after i destroyed all the ghouls for seargeant Gustov, i destroyed all the security guards and mr tenpenny himself, even though he payed me to destroy the town i first found that was built around an atom bomb where a few CRAZIES lived. anyways....

The beauty of this game is how you choose to do whatever you want and be whoever, wear whatever and basically kill whatever you want. every decision changes your future and the story is actually pretty fascinating. Kudos to the people who created this and ....

Metal music and Being Christian

One thing that i hear a lot about that pisses me off is the debate on whether or not metal music or any sub-genre of metal can be christian. The truth is it most certainly can. One thing we have to realize is that the bible is very vague on the issue of music.


Oh come, let us worship and bow down;let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

This is one verse that says o kneel and worship him. But where does it say that we must only listen to songs from Hillsong, or delerious?, or chris tomlin? it doesn't say any of this. All though these bands and artist are definately gifted and have accomplished a lot, it doesnt mean that we must be confined to only listen to what everyone says we must. i know the bible also says to be careful as to what we listen to and to what we see, but so much christians are telling me that what i listen to is not from god.

Even though these christians are also telling me how when they are "worshipping" they also see and feel "gold dust" coming from the heavanlies. Well i'm thinkin your snortin some of that "gold dust" because it isn't from god. I know this will piss people of but I am just so sick of people confining the bible and his word. I'm sick of the wuss side of christianity. The old testament was full of death and destruction, and we also read how God got pissed off and killed people who repeatdley denied him. It had men who were strong and stood up for what they knew to be true. they died in battle defending Gods name. Thats what im trying to be. This metal i listen to makes me feel stronger and uplifted. God is there in my life to hold me up and keep me strong, but when i feel like im being attacked spiritually, bands like "for today" and "war of ages" make me feel strong and like a man in battle for jesus' name. So when you want to judge me because of what i listen to and believe, maybe you should actually read your bible becuase this is what it says. to worship our god. doesnt say what and who we should listen to. Its music to me and its what holds me up. Man up.

Backpacking in north Idaho

This photo was taken by me with my phone on the north fork of the Couer d' alene river. Me my brothers Nick, jason and shane went backPacking after a 100 mile drive and hiked for 2 miles to this beautiful spot where no one goes. the beauty of this area is phenominal. and that night we went near canada, there was a beautiful lighning storm on the horizon. Besides the gnats it was a fun trip and to see gods creation and how everything just flows so beautifully when your out and away from anything with plugins, and lights. Seeing the gorgeous stars at night are just amazing. There is no way to describe stars in the middle of no where unless you go there yourself. All i can say is just the beauty of the country is an infinite amount of words in description. God is absolutely amazing. how can anything that beautiful be by accident.

Movies

Here is one of my favorite comedies. despite the crude "Male" humor it is very funny to see how immature guys can really be lol. I feel castrated by saying so but it is hilarious.
